My guest today is the one and only, Tim Tebow. I had the opportunity to sit down with him in New York last week and, without a doubt, he’s one of the most genuine human beings that I’ve ever met. You could feel that from him from the moment he walked into our studio (which happened to be a hotel room in Manhattan). I’ve always wondered if the men we see online are the same men in person and I can unequivocally say, “yes,” with Tebow.

Today, we talk about where Tebow’s convictions come from, the powerful relationship he has with his father and his coaches along the way, why his work with those who have special needs is so crucial in the absence of manliness, the dichotomy between God’s sovereignty and our own, creating an edge in your life, stacking up the small wins, and, at the foundation of it all, how to create a life that counts.

SHOW HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Masculinity is lacking around the world
  • Love is a choice that we make
  • Kids see everything that parents do
  • Managing the expectations of others
  • Some people just don’t want to like you
  • Being respected is more important than being liked
  • The relationship between serving God and living your own life
  • Sharing the Gospel through our actions
  • God provides when we need it most
  • We should both rely on God and work hard

It’s easy to be on edge these days. With so much nonsense going on in the world from political protests, government overreach, cancel culture, everyone being offended by everything, and a myriad of other issues that aren’t really all that important in the grand scheme of things, it’s hard to find a sense of peace that I think most of us would really like to have in our lives.

Today, I’m joined by a man that has seemed to not only find it but is so uniquely comfortable and sure of who he is that you can’t help but be intrigued and fascinated about how he’s done it. His name is Phil Robertson (you may know him from Duck Dynasty). Today, we talk about the power of love, justice and mercy, the power of hope, finding confidence in who you are, discovering the true nature of people, and so much more (he even does some bird calling for me with his signature calls). And, we also get into why Phil was canceled and how he’s taking it all in stride.

The truth is something a lot of people aren’t interested in hearing these days. Increasingly, we’ve let how we feel about current events become the primary factor for our responses to them. But there are a handful of vocal individuals fighting back and sharing the truth in spite of how it may hurt some people’s feelings and threaten their dangerous ideologies.

My guest is one of those individuals. His name is Adam Carolla and I know a lot of you are already familiar with the great work he’s doing in comedy and podcasting.
